What is a Digital Legacy?

that you do now.  Think about that!

Data storage is becoming a non-issue.  You can count on being able to store terabytes
on some material the size of the head of a pin (and still have room for angels to dance
there too!).  I know, they'll have to draw their 0s and 1s pretty teeny, but there seem
to be some artists practicing drawing really small 0s and 1s.  And online real estate
will be cheap--like Chernobyl is now.

The point is, the generations that follow will know you and me (and Harry and Bubbe
and...) in a way that you and I do not know our ancestors; they will know the paths we
have walked through our digital footprints.  They will remember us through our
Digital Legacy.  It could be an overwhelming tsunami of data; we need to be
parsimonious.

Create your Digital Legacy; a password protected WebStorm to be unlocked  upon
death.  That which you wish to preserve for the next generations.  They will recognize
it as worth preserving so that the generations that follow will not only remember us,
but understand themselves better by knowing where they came from.

What will we put there?

Things that we want them to know about us.
Our life story reflected in our digital works--photos, videos, docs...
Things we are proud of.
Lessons we have learned.
Messages to our descendants.
Our Digital Legacy.
