Rabbi Jeff Schulman provides spiritual leadership for Kavanat
HaLev with passion and heart. Reb Jeff was ordained by
Jewish Renewal’s governing body, Aleph in January 2010. He
serves on Aleph’s Board of Directors and is a member of
Spiritual Directors International and the Northern California
Board of Rabbis. In 2007, he received a master’s degree in
Judaic Studies from Hebrew College in Boston where he was
awarded the Myer Dana Award for Excellence in Judaic Studies.

Kavanat HaLev
Rabbi Leah Novick is a spiritual teacher and counselor whose
work focuses on the Divine Feminine. Rabbi Leah's healing
and ritual work is grounded in experiencing the Shekhinah in
meditative states. An ALEPH Pathfinder, Reb Leah leads
retreats and workshops in the United States, Europe, and
Israel. An inveterate feminist, Rabbi Leah's road to Shekhina
was paved by her involvement with the women's movement
and her study of Goddess cultures.
